It’s Friiiiiiiiiiiidaaaaaaaaaaaaay. R.I.P. to David Hanes who passed away a few years ago. He was the radio personality that used to kick off all of our Friday’s down here in DC.

I’m mad confused over what to put in my mood music section. I feel a bunch of moods right now. All good ones though. I just got all this energy recently, I’m just bouncing off the walls…like a young Mike Jack. Hey!! That might be the answer right there.

I put down the Guitar Heros last night and decided to read a couple of books. Blogs and the internet in general are starting to bore me. I have about 4-10 that I check each day because they have fresh thoughts on stuff or because the blogger is witty, original, and stuff like that. Outside of that, how many videos of a girl peeing on the street can you watch? I swear if I lived in a warmer climate I would never be on the web.

Firm Biz was good this week. The key is to grow as a company each and every single week of 2009. My new job as Brand Organizer is basically to come up with ways to add to that growth and also to keep track of it. In other words I’ll be held responsible if you don’t know what The Famous Firm is. So if you see me on top of the White House with an “FF” t-shirt on towards the end of a slow month, you know why.

This weekend I MUST, MUST play basketball. Of all my New Years goals that’s the one I’m yet to fulfill. Well that and checking up on friends, but that was just too unrealistic. It’s too forced and feels fake to all of a sudden start messaging and calling people. Plus I don’t know who is who sometimes. At the end of the day I got love for just about everyone, my current situation just won’t permit me to show it the way some would like.

The other day I asked myself “do you even still make music?”. Then I replied myself “hell yeah”. Then I asked myself “so where’s the new material?”. Then I replied myself “ummmmmmmmmmm”. Then I laughed at myself, turned the beat up high and commenced to rhyming. Honestly creating music is my first love and it will never leave me. It’s just the nonsense that comes after it that I hate so much (ie. My name is Phella and I have this really good song that I think your blog viewers might like, you think you can post it?….and they respond ___________________________). To a man with pride one or two of those will make you say “f*ck this, I got better things to do with my time”. But that’s promoting the music. The actual creating and recording aspect is the best feeling on the planet, especially when you’re nice with it…lol. <<<<<<<< fake lol to make me not seem arrogant

This weekend I need to interview two or more famous people for Thank God I’m Famous Magazine. Think Miley Cyrus is available?

I found this to be quite interesting. No matter what coast or region we’re on, The Famous Firm members seem to share similar work patterns.

Everyone works works works then randomly does whatever they want, lol.

I was about to go on my afternoon lunch break which consisted of the gym, a meal at Boston Market and an episode of the Wayans brothers. I decided to rummage through some facebook status updates to see if there was anything interesting going on.

I saw four of my Firm La Firmilia had just updated their twitters and everyone was either sleeping, about to sleep, watching a movie or just finished watching tv and movies etc… Weird right? More companies should adopt this strategy because after you do what you want, you’re more inclined to get back to work for the rest of the day.

Shout out to J.Rob and Jacks for their honesty. Couldn’t track down the old head who has witnessed my pool wizardry but I believe this shall suffice.

Sidenote:Seven Pounds is out in theaters in a few hours. I got all my workouts in from Sunday thru today just so tomorrow can be dedicated to watching that and eating whatever I feel like eating. Hopefully it doesn’t dissapoint…review coming soon.

Sidenote#2:What up to JT of Asap Music Group in Baltimore. Ya’ll get it in. Had a good time out there in Charm City minus this one weirdo who tried to bag me up…sorry player but I don’t do the midnight train to Georgia. Phelly Phell likes the ladies only.

I decided to hit the reset button on all my crushes. Above is the criteria that I go by in Phantasy Dating.

Keyshia Cole is still cool and all but she has an album coming out and won’t be able to provide the attention I need. That -30 for being too goal oriented really cost her.

Bria Myles used to be front runner but she is just getting too OD with the pics she takes….cool to look at, but I don’t think I can wife something that (I know) everyone has seen. She unfortunately got a negative 1 gazillion because of her tainted past.

Chicks like Sanaa Lathan are a little bit too cliche. Every dude mentions her in their top 10. Her Fantasy score is extremely high but we don’t do cliches over here. We like New New.

Speaking of “New New”. Lauren London also has an extremely high score too but we need more power moves from her career wise to certify that she’s not a GD.

For some odd reason I really like Rocsi off 106 and Park. Obviously she looks good but that usually isn’t the deciding factor. I think it’s because she has that “I think I’m too good” attitude that I love. 50 Cent would put her in the negative 1 gazillion category but I don’t believe Fif. She gets disqualified because she replaced, Free, the ultimate Phantasy dater.

Taraji P Henson (Howard University Girl) is also back on the playing field. I hadn’t seen her in anything for a while until the Jamie Foxx/T.I. video. She’s super smart and always smiling, plus she has that sassyness that Rocsi has mixed in with some humble pie. I think she wins for now. She fits into every positive category on the list plus tons of bonus points for things not mentioned.

That’s it for Phantasy. As for real life, I always catch borderline crazy joints(that’s what I say). Or they’re normal and I make them crazy (that’s what they say). “You should see how I am around girls, I ruin them all”-Jay-Z

It’s been brought to my attention that I “have to have a twitter.” Like literally, get a twitter or stop livng type stuff. I’ve been hip to the benefits of twitter for a while thanks to an article I read about how the makers plan to cash out from it.

My number 1 reason for not getting a twitter is simply because I think too much. I’m constantly analyzing and processing everything. If my phone is by my side while I’m doing all this thinking can you imagine how many twitter updates that would be? and what they might say?

I would get myself in trouble quick. Between my music, blog, and facebook status some people already accuse me of being slightly off, or like someone put it today, “I already knew you weren’t playing with a full deck”..lol. So no twitter for ole Phelly anytime soon. Blackberry Messenger+Blogger+Facebook Status is all the self expressing technology I can handle for now.

*Sidebar 2-I think the economy has affected my blog comments. When I first started out, comments used to pour in, now not so much….damn that George Bush. Interacting is no fun if you don’t get feedback.
