Yesterday I woke up and ran a mile. Been doing it every morning because I’m on a mission to do it in under 7 minutes. Yesterday’s time was 7min 16 secs. Not bad.

Headed down to VA Beach, VA to handle some Fam biz. Met for about 4 hours with one of the more prominent media companies down there. Just traded stories about business, how everyone seems to blow the first big money they make, and more topics. Learned a lot from those guys.

Got some very good constructive criticsm about my music. The same old story but worded differently. People like the serious content and social awareness but they feel I’m at my best when I just have fun with it and not come off so serious. I agree 100%, but for as long as there’s issues and things going on, my music will always have some reflection of that. I just need to do a better job at balancing it and marketing specific songs to specific audiences. That’s the luxury of being diverse. You can adjust without having to sell out or change who you are.

Ate some crazy pasta at Uno’s then ended the night at Ihop eating the meal you see below. In other words, I cancelled out that 1 mile run.

All in all, good trip, good day, and good things in store. Stay tuned.
