2 Quotes For The Price Of 1

“Because it is only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you will realize your true potential.”-Barack Obama

He says this a lot. Probably because it’s very true. Some people believe in being the big fish in a little pond but you don’t learn much that way. Surrounding yourself with people greater than you are is the best way to test who you are as a person.

“In this world full of diseases/I learned not to bite my tongue or have seizures.”-Joe Budden

Clever wordplay as well as real talk. The biggest mistake kids make in school is when the teacher says “any questions”, there’s always two or three people who have questions to ask but they won’t out of fear for what their classmates might think or how the teacher might react. Those kids usually fail the test.

Even in adulthood people stay in jobs and relationships they don’t like, all because of that fear to speak up. People also miss out on jobs and potential relationships for the very same reason.

Basically say what you have to say everyday because you aren’t guaranteed tomorrow, nor is the person you might want to say it to. Even if it’s something they may not like. Just say it. The only time I’ve ever felt true regret is when I didn’t say something I wanted or needed to say.

That’s why bloggers/musicians/journalists/psychologists got it so good. When done correctly, all of those jobs allow you to speak your mind without censorship. I HAVE ALL FOUR JOBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Phella says:

Lol, there’s actually two ways of getting certified. You can either go to school and get the degree or you can help more than 20 people overcome their problems. I chose the latter

  3. Agent34 says:

Obama hit the nail on the head about basically playing your role. In our microwave generation too many people want to be the chief with no village and no indians. Get knowledge then get money. Nice Post!

  4. Simone Carlene says:

I have all four jobs too! & I'm just beginning to surround myself with people who are greater than me. I know it may come as a shock to you but there are people greater. Maybe not as silly or witty as I am, [lol!] I'm learning from everyone that crosses my path.

  5. Phella says:

^^^^^ I find it impossible to believe there’s anyone greater…point em out
