Thought I Was Bugging Until….

I saw this quote on a friends myspace page:

“….An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate for the good and the bad.”

Often I see people (myself especially) being accused of being “impatient” or “mean” when it comes to dealing with negative people. This quote dispels that myth. If you’re a positive person and a person striving for success, you deserve to surround yourself with people who are on the same path. Anything else is uncivilized.

That is one of my favorite quotes and truly one I work hard to live by.
I don’t know about you, but whenever I’m surrounded by negativity people and hear them constantly gripe and complain about everything and have such a pessimistic outlook on life, it sucks the energy right out of me…you leave a convo from those types about ready to be put on suicide watch because they have such a depressing energy!
And another thing I have noticed is when you associate heavily w/ people who have NO ambition or drive to do anything it rubs off on you, too…I don’t think anyone can stress strongly enough how important it is to monitor your company.
